Lisa made her way from the world of books and photography to documentary film starting in 2001 as a freelance set photographer and researcher for Lone Wolf Media. She came aboard full time in 2013 as an associate producer for PBS, NOVA, The Smithsonian Channel, and National Geographic documentaries. She also happily dove into episodic TV as head researcher for Mercy Street, Lone Wolf’s Civil War drama for prime-time PBS.

In 2020 Lisa was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy for her scenic design work in the Salem’s Secrets episode of “America’s Hidden Stories”.

Her work with Lone Wolf has provided unique opportunities to step into the pages of the history books and dig in, sometimes literally, to some of the world’s most fascinating and iconic moments. Just recently Lisa’s roles as co-producer and archival producer for Resistance—They Fought Back, a film about Jewish Resistance to the holocaust, offered her the opportunity to work on an independent feature documentary film. Her ability to uncover disparate sets of facts and, from this, develop stories that inform and humanize difficult concepts is key to her many successes.

In her free time Lisa is exploring her adopted state of Maine on foot and through the lens, planning her next travel adventures, and getting in as much time with her children, friends, and wonder pup, Rose, as possible.
